Our Food On Mountain

Overview

Climbers always have three main meals a day in the mountain. Lunch and dinners begin always with fresh soup. In the late afternoon, hot drinks (tea/coffee) and popcorns/nuts are served in the mess tent.

Food and drinking water in the mountain is something to be paid attention of. Food preparation and carriage needs to be of high hygiene. If a climber gets food/water infection, can result to diarrhea or throwing up, and this can cause dehydration. And if a climber is dehydrated, he/she will be less acclimatized and weak, and reduce the chance of climber`s summit success. Some climbers normally fail to reach the top and have to descend just because of diarrhea or vomiting. We are very careful and smart about food issues on the mountain; we always make sure that we take all the precautions about food safety. Our climbers always get well prepared and cooked fresh food on the mountain, and our cooks are well trained about the food preparation on the mountain.

Hygienity is one of our priorities.
