1. Our contract

By booking with Wazi Tours, you agree to the terms outlined in our Booking Conditions. These conditions constitute a binding agreement between us, and every customer is deemed to have read them thoroughly before placing their reservation. The trip we offer will be as detailed on your confirmation invoice upon payment of the deposit or total amount if booked within 30 days before the departure date.

2. Validity

The booking is not valid until we send you the confirmation. It's only once we do that; it becomes a confirmed booking.

3. Deposit requirement

When you make a booking, different deposits are required depending on the specific trip.

4. Acceptance of booking and final payments

We will send you a confirmation via email. When we do that, there is already an agreement between us and the payment of your balance must be made before the departure date, or else it's considered cancelled.

5. Prices & surcharges

Different passengers on the same trip may have been charged different prices due to our variable and seasonal pricing, a standard practice within the travel industry. It means that you'll likely be paying more or less for your trip depending on demand, market conditions, and availability at any given time.

6. Your details

To confirm your travel arrangements, you must send all of the required details and payment. These include but are not limited to: full name as per passport, date of birth, nationality or country issued from if applicable, and other information such as passport number and issue/expiry dates along with any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect your ability to complete said trip.

7. Health requirements

Before going on your next trip, it's essential to ensure that you are in good health. You should consult a medical professional for the latest information and advice about travel requirements for your destination. If we allowed you onto our flight but then denied entry into another country or if something happened at customs, we would not be liable for any personal injury or loss of property as a result.

8. Small groups & combination trips

Once our trips are fully paid for, they leave no matter how small the group size is. It means we can sometimes have groups with only a few people on them.

9. Travel insurance:

We strongly recommend you obtain comprehensive travel insurance as soon as possible. Wazi Tours does not provide insurance to its clients (e.g. trip cancellation, medical).

10. Cancellations by you

Suppose, for any reason; you need to change or cancel your booking beyond the specified time limit. In that case, it's considered a cancellation made by the customer, and it will charge a cancellation fee according to fees outlined in our Booking Conditions.

11. Cancellations by Wazi tours

In cases whereby a trip is cancelled due to weather conditions or natural disasters, which may affect accommodation, transport, safety. Our staff's ability to perform their jobs at hand, we reserve the right to alter, cancel or postpone any trip or place a hold on our customers' funds without incurring any liability for loss of personal property, injury or death. In such instances, we will not be responsible for any cancellations, and no refund will be payable by us.

12. Refunds & changes to flights

Please refer to the airline website for terms and conditions specific to Wazi Tours' ticketing agent for more information.

13. Changes in price before departure date:

Any increase in our quoted rates will be advised no less than 30 days before departure. If you would like to change from one trip or facility to another within that 30 days, you will have to pay any difference in the rates.

14. Cancellations by us

Suppose we cancel your trip before departure and without any reason given from your side. In that case, a full refund (excluding booking fees) will be made without question provided that you have provided us with all of the information necessary for us to make the trip.

15. Cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control:

If a situation arises during your trip that we deem as an emergency, you may be forced to return home early or might not be allowed to enter the country where you are staying. You agree that any such costs incurred through travel and accommodation due to or arising from such circumstances are beyond our control. We are not responsible for any additional costs that you may incur to return home early, refundable flight tickets, expenses paid for hotels and places booked that you will not be able to stay there, medical expenses or any other losses which are not stated here nor in the conditions.

16. Personal property:

We are not responsible for any loss of or damage to baggage, personal effects, money, passports, or other documents during the trip unless we are negligent. It would help if you travelled with your insurance card (or copy thereof) and a photocopy of important travel documents as well as a recent photo.

17. Limitations of liability:

We are not a traditional tour operator in the true sense of the word; we're private people trying to help other like-minded individuals get out and see the world at an affordable rate. We cannot be held liable for any damages or injuries that may occur during your trip; our liability is based on a waiver we make under our terms and conditions, which you have to accept once you book or join any of our trips.

18. Arbitration Agreement:

Any controversy, claim or dispute arising out of or in connection with your booking or the trip will be referred to arbitration per Indonesia Arbitration Association (IAA) rules. The arbitration institution will be in Jakarta, and the language of the arbitration proceedings shall be either Bahasa Indonesia or English.

19. Privacy:

We take privacy issues very seriously, so we're committed to protecting your personal information; our data protection policy explains to you how we collect, use, and store your personal information. We could change this policy from time to time with or without your consent.

20. Your personal information, credit card details and the fact that you have read this agreement:

We assume you fully understood it and agreed to all of its terms and conditions by accepting this agreement. We record when a person books any tour with us, and we also save their details, such as name, mobile phone number and address. The credit card information is collected by our payment agent and will not be stored by us hereafter the transaction has taken place to ensure its safety. By accepting this agreement, you are confirming that you're at least 18 years of age. You acknowledge that it's possible to amend this agreement from time to time, and It will inform you of any changes via our website.

21. Privacy Policy:

You acknowledge that your data is stored electronically by us as stated in clause 20 above; it could be used for marketing and promotional purposes only (e.g., newsletter updates). You also agree not to forward or send our commercial messages to other individuals. You acknowledge that in case of any violation of this policy, we could terminate the agreement, and you will not be able to use our services anymore.

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you accept that the website may include communications from us (such as service announcements and administrative messages) and that these communications are considered part of the Site or services provided to you. We have the right at any time (and from time to time) to change or discontinue the Site (or any part thereof). We will endeavour to give you reasonable notice of any significant changes.

We have the right at any time for any reason to temporarily or permanently suspend access to our Site without giving you a refund. The website is provided "as is," and we expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied.
